The International Program & Review Committee invites engineers, researchers, professors, academics, and industry professionals to submit their papers for the International and Mediterranean Conference – MeditMaint.
The papers should report original, unpublished findings in the field of maintenance, asset management, facility management, engineering and applied science, focusing on the technical, economic, social and environmental perspectives.
Submissions that offer new insights, rigorous analysis, and practical solutions aligned with the conference’s diverse thematic areas are welcomed. The papers that contribute significantly to the state-of-the-art and report final results of research and development, with proper literature review, will be reviewed and will be candidates for publication in following partner journals:
- Journal of Maintenance and Exploitation (cro. Održavanje i eksploatacija),
- Journal of Energy (cro. Energija),
- Maintworld.
Contribution Types
Each paper to be published in Proceedings and in the journals will have to be presented at the Conference by one of the authors (presenting author).
The papers will not be allowed to be presented by those who are not its authors. Papers not presented will not be invited to be puvlished in journals, no matter what the reason for not presenting them is. Each onsite participating author will be obliged to present one paper orally at the Conference.
Original scientific articles (4000 – 8000 words) are original, high-quality research papers presenting new, unpublished scientific findings expressed in an objectively verifiable manner.
Preliminary reports (4000 – 8000 words) contain new research discoveries requiring rapid publication. These papers may not necessarily enable the verification of the presented results.
Review articles (6000 – 10000 words) must be an original, concise, and critical overview of the state of the art in the field or its segment in which the author(s) actively participate. The role of the author’s original contributions to the field in relation to previously published works should be emphasized, along with a comprehensive review of relevant research. Review articles may be invited by the editorial board. Authors wishing to propose a review article should submit an inquiry and provide an abstract, a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and the names of potential reviewers.
Conference papers (4000 – 7000 words), previously presented at conferences, must be published in the form of a complete article only in case of not being previously published in the conference proceedings. Note for authors: In case of submitting a paper that has already been presented, general information about the conference (title, date, and location) should be provided. Include this information as a footnote or similar.
Professional papers (4000 – 8000 words) contain useful contributions to a specific field and do not necessarily represent original (scientific) research.
